Artwork Requirements:

Ad Trends Printing Art Services are billed at $75 per hour to create art work for orders without acceptable art. Resizing existing artwork or minor copy changes do not require art charges. In order for Ad Trends Printing to meet your deadline, price, and quality requirements, acceptable art is described below.

Sending Files:

CD, DVD, E‐mail and FTP are acceptable ways of sending art files to Ad Trends Printing. You may choose to ZIP them before sending to reduce files size and combine files.

File Formats:

We use Adobe CS3 Products, so Illustrator, Photoshop, or InDesign Files are all acceptable. For Quark, Freehand, or Corel Draw, please convert files to EPS or PDF.

Layout:

Please fax a hardcopy of artwork to Ad Trends Printing at 816‐228‐3011, so that missing fonts or images can be identified and problems cannot be overlooked.

Artwork:

• A vector logo is needed for all Art Services Projects. Save as EPS or AI file.
• Please use 1200 DPI and scale your layout 1 inch = 1 foot for all printing greater than 2 feet wide or high.
• Vector art is preferred above all else. No resolution is necessary and fonts should be converted to curves. Use “Create Outlines” function.
• 300 DPI is acceptable for all JPG, GIF, TIF, or PNG files.
• Fonts should be included with your artwork if it requires copy changes, and you cannot create outlines.
• Stock images and vector art are available through Ad Trends Printing for $15.00 each.

Colors:

Specify all PMS color numbers required for artwork. Standard colors may vary for each product, so please define every color with a PMS number. Convert all full‐color images to CMYK. Please open the final file before sending to make sure everything opens the way you want it to print. Check spelling, imprint areas, colors, and fonts. If all of the files are ready, we will be able to print your job!
